CEO, International Private Bank
Martin Marron is CEO of J.P. Morgan’s International Private Bank and a member of the Operating Committee for the firm’s Asset & Wealth Management business. Based in New York, he has over 35 years of experience in the financial industry.
Marron joined J.P. Morgan Buenos Aires in 1992 as a Fixed Income trader. Since then, he has held a number of leadership positions in Argentina, Brazil and the United States, including Co-Senior Country Officer of Brazil and Head of Global Emerging Markets Americas Sales and Trading. Before being appointed to his current role, Marron was CEO of J.P. Morgan Latin America & Canada, responsible for overseeing J.P. Morgan's activities in the region. During that time, he was also head of Latin America Investment Banking and Private Banking and a member of J.P. Morgan's Global Corporate & Investment Bank Management Committee. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Marron worked at Price Waterhouse, Credit Lyonnais and Citibank NA.
Marron holds a Major in Accounting from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English. He also sits on the board of J.P. Morgan (Suisse) SA.
